Zenyatta Celebration scheduled for Breeders’ Cup Friday

Breeders’ Cup Ltd., along with Zenyatta owners Jerry and Ann Moss, announced Tuesday the launch of the inaugural Breeders’ Cup Zenyatta Celebration, to be held Championship Friday, November 4, at the Kentucky Derby Museum. With Zenyatta set to be the World Championships’ “Official Hostess,” the official all-day event will kick off the Breeders’ Cup racing festivities and welcome fans as they gather for Friday’s card. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Breeders’ Cup Charities.

The Zenyatta Celebration starts at 11:30 a.m. (ET) on November 4 with the Zenyatta Reunion Luncheon. The hospitality retreat will be available from 3:30 to 9:30 p.m., with the after-party immediately following the last race of the day. Package options for the Celebration include:

Scheduled to appear at the Zenyatta Fan Luncheon are the Mosses, trainer John Shirreffs and his wife Dottie, jockey Mike Smith, and even Zenyatta will join via live video feed from her stable at Lane’s End Farm.

the Zenyatta Reunion, fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet with the racemare’s connections, participate in autograph signings, enjoy a Zenyatta memorabilia display and silent auction. During the races, the Celebration will offer a hospitality retreat complete with food, cash bar and a betting machine.
