According to trainer, John Shirreff, ” it is “very much our plan” to run Cozmic One as a 2-year-old”. A recent “Daily Racing Form” article, indicated that it remains undetermined whether that start would come at Belmont, Aqueduct or perhaps later in the year in Southern California.

Cozmic One, affectionately known as “Coz” and the first colt from horse racing champion, Zenyatta, had his first official timed run – working a half mile in 49.45 seconds at Belmont Park’s main track on Friday morning.
